What are sessions like?

We promise, therapy isn’t as scary as you’re thinking it might be!

Our main goal is to meet you where you are. Some people are ready to jump head first into major life changes, and other people are just feeling out change and thinking about things.

In our first session we complete the paperwork, discuss confidentiality, and begin to hear your story. The focus of the second session is to continue to hear your story and discover potential areas of strength and improvement, and together make a plan of what we will work on together.

Our goal is NOT to have you in therapy for a lifetime. Most people see clinically significant improvements after just three months, as therapy has been shown to be more effective than medication alone.
